Laos: Savanakhet 21 - 24 July

A crazy journey to get here... They squeezed 30-odd people on a 14-seater sangthaew, and then added what we think was a stinky pig in a sack under Heather's seat, several sacks of some-live, some-dead fishes and a basket full of live chickens, along with all our rucksacks - we were fairly full so the flat tyre was hardly a surprise!

At least we arrived to some festivity - O Christmas tree, o Christmas tree...!
