Thailand: Phitsanulok 31 May - 4 June

Getting into the habit of a couple of Chang Beers (75p for over a pint!) and Spy wines (for H obviously!) every night from the 7-11 corner shop! Amazingly they don't let you buy any alcohol before 5pm though - it's a good job the World Cup matches are on late here!
Found our cheapest hostel yet - and we can see why. Two pounds a night for the hardest bed ever and communal squat loos - as they say, you get what you pay for! At least it's left more money for the aforementioned booze!
Day trip to Sukothai for more cycling, no problems for Chris's bum this time! We saw at first hand the floods around there as the bus drove us straight thru them - fields have turned into lakes and roads into canals!
Splurged on a posh meal aboard a floating restaurant and were helped out with our eating etiquette(!) by a very friendly local man who was sitting next to us with his wife and friends.

Not quite sure why, but Rudolf is pulling Santa on his sleigh in May!
Nearly lost our hats on a speedy motorbike-cum-reverse-tuk-tuk trip to the bus station. There was no way we were gonna carry our bags all that way!
